From 1990 to the new millennium Leslie T. Travis was a fixture on KILT every weeknight. Through the years Leslie T hosted the all request show Cryin Lovin and Leavin and helped change the sound of Houston radio as host of The Texas Music Revolution. Now she's back every weekend here on KILT.
Leslie T. came to Houston from her homestate of Missouri, via KWKH in Shreveport where she helped revive the Louisianna Hayride and was nominated for CMA Music Director of the Year. After arriving in Houston other awards followed, including the Rockzilla Media Personality of the Year in 2002. The thanks of the Red Cross and SPCA came after Leslie T. organized and hosted the Flood Benefit following Allison in 2001, raising over $30,000 at the show with Cory Morrow, Roger Creager and others.
